Planning Your Adventure Elopement

So you’re ready to start planning your elopement. Now what? Elopements aren’t just running to the courthouse or Vegas anymore. Check out my blog post on why you should elope if you need convincing! When planning your elopement, you have so many options! Luckily you’ve got some help because I’m not only an elopement photographer, I’m an elopement photographer and guide. That means that I’m here to help guide you in planning your elopement, the best day of your life. Where to start?

I suggest beginning by thinking about what you like to do as a couple. Are weekends filled with long hikes to beautiful and scenic overlooks or alpine lakes? If so, let’s plan your elopement to start at with an early morning hike to a sunrise first look like this couple did:

What about picnics or fine dining? I know that I love to eat, especially after a long hike. Cheese and crackers, grapes and wine. You could even have a specially catered meal by a private chef… On the top of a mountain or at your AirBnB by the sea. Planning your elopement can be so much fun and you really can plan anything you can dream of.

Do you both love an adventure? What about pictures in a slot canyon, a hot air ballon ride, or even taking a helicopter to a glacier and eloping there, right on the ice? These are all possibilities when planning your very own elopement.

The night doesn’t even have to end with sunset. Have you ever heard of astrophotography? It’s photography of the night sky and it’s so much fun!

Well, when you book me through diamondelopements.com, I’ll start by sending you a questionnaire asking you all about your vision and about the location/scenery about which you’re dreaming for your elopement. Then we’ll go through it together over the phone or Skype to determine a few different locations that sound amazing. The next step will be me sending you several different location choices with pictures and ideas for planning your epic elopement day.
